Afternoon Sail Off Camden depicts the late afternoon approach into Camden Harbor. We passed by Curtis Light and the rocky point at the entrance to the harbor onboard the sloop Anjacaa. The sunlight streamed onto the rocks, lighthouse and sails of other sloops sailing the bay. I hope this painting captures the majesty of the place, the beauty of warm sunlight, and recalls fond memories of a perfect afternoon sail with dear friends.
